The Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Team in Exeter have confirmed that planning permission for another 120 bed Premier Inn in Exeter City Centre has been granted.
The Hotel will sit on the car park of Dean Clarke House, which adjoins the main Court building and is just off Southernhay, the principal business district of the city.
John Kinsey who heads up the Hotels team in Exeter said: "We have been looking at the site for a number of years and entered discussions with Tratham properties to undertake a leasehold deal for 120 bedrooms. Working with the acquisitions manager at Premier Inn, Richard Pearson, we negotiated the deal and assisted the planning consultants.
The development will be a major contribution to the business district of Exeter. We also have a number of sites awaiting planning including Yeovil, Trowbridge, a further site in Exeter, and five other sites under offer throughout the South West."
